This one of a kind story written by Santa Clause is about a tree named "Charlie Tree." He was named after his owner Mister Charlie, who owns a Christmas tree farm. For several years now Mister Charlie has spent his days talking with Charlie Tree. He is a very special Christmas Tree. He was born crooked just like Mister Charlie. Bully Tree likes to pick on Charlie Tree because of the way he looks. He doesn't think about how Charlie Tree feels.
One day a boy named Joey, who is handicapped too, arrives at Mister Charlie's tree farm with his father to pick out their Christmas tree. What happens next is truly special. Santa has won 15 National and International Awards in children's programming, entertainment, and creative concept with his DVD movie, "Family Time With Santa." He has appeared in several magazines and National TV shows including QVC. With the addition of "Charlie Tree", Santa can now add "Author" to his long list of accomplishments.
Santa's life, besides taking care of his reindeer and elves, is dedicated to the children of the world. He visits many children's hospitals and elderly homes in hopes of making Christmas a bit better. The main reason Santa wrote "Charlie Tree" is because he knows how some children, and adults, treat those who may have a handicap. Through this story, he hopes to reach children at an early age and educate them on how important it is to treat others with compassion, who may seem a bit "different". Santa wishes with all his heart that this could happen. Please become more understanding of those who may walk, talk, and act different than others.
